Yeah, I don't know why people say we gave up 2 firsts. We received one of theirs so that off-sets this year's first.

However, we did give up two picks.. We lose the 5th I believe? Which is a bummer. I still feel the price was a bit steep. I wish we could have at least gotten some sort of other pick from GB. Not upset about it or anything though. This was the guy they wanted all along and they got him.

Hopefully he is an impact player and worth it.

This thread gave me a headache

Interestingly enough Green Bay turned around and traded just their 3rd and 6th (this year) to go from 27 to 18 and, we went 27 to 14 and gave up next years 1st and this years 5th.

It isn't two firsts. People can't do basic fricking math.

It’s hilar people are actually arguing over semantics like this.

Basic Math:
2018 1st + 2019 1st = 2 first round picks given up.
Saints get 2018 1. Equals NET 1 first rounder but they did trade 2

Right. He cost 2 first round picks to acquire. If Green Bay had selected him and then traded him to us, then we would have given up 2 first round picks and nothing is different. The semantics debate is stupid.
