So knowing our problems at Guard it made me go look around for a possible replacements for Jahri.
What do yall think about making a play for Ronald Leary?
He is the odd man out on the Cowboys O-line since they added Collins. He will be a FA at the end of the year.

Shouldn't we be targeting young cheap talent in the draft? I'm not sure I see the point in spending a bunch of money for a short term fix when the current playoff numbers are so heavily weighted against this current group.

I guess it really depends on what this guy wants. Yes I think we need to draft some guards but bringing someone like this in would give the young guys time to develop. Hes only 26 guys

Did I mention hes from Baton Rouge? lol

I don't think this guy is that good.

You have to remember that playing on an elite OL makes every member look great.

How did I know this thread was about Collins? Can we fricking get off this guys nuts already?

This thread is in no way about Collins retard. This is about getting a guard to replace Jahri.

Oh mb I read the thread wrong. Happens all the time when I use my phone .

I kind of wish we could just pick up another rookie in the draft for cheap like we did with Evans years ago. Not sure how Ireland and co are with scouting Oline players. I guess Peat has been good so far, which to me is a good sign.

Oh I agree we need to draft a couple but you could get this guy at age 26 to fill one of the holes and already be up to speed. So even if you had him for a short period while the rooks developed it would be a win.

Yeah you're right. He would be a perfect fit for us. 26 is a great age too considering the fact he is in his prime. Do you have any intel on how he graded out against other Guards via PFF?

Ronald Leary has a major knee condition that will not allow him to have a long career. That's why he was undrafted.

I say we add a couple of rookies for guards next year. It seems to be the trend for us and rooks are cheaper!

Yeah it wasn't for a permanent fix just a year or two while the rookies we draft next year develop.
