Now compare that to the LSU 2-4th rounders that are outperforming them. Gump LBers are inflated because they play on a relatively clean field. They don't have to fight through traffic because those linemen are so dominant.

If I am looking for offensive/defensive linemen or WRs, I look at the Gumps. Everything else is hit or miss.

You haven't learned your lesson yet with Ingram. Gumps suck in The NFL

There was a handful of Bama players selected to the pro-bowl this year and even then a lot more with great seasons.
This whole bama to the nfl thing has been debunked numerous times over but y'all still cling to this Trent Richardson bone. It's like if Alabama made fun of LSU draft picks over and over because of Jamarcus Russell.

Why argue, you're an LSU fan, baseball is your thing - not football.

LSU dominates Gumpville in The NFL, Lacy, Henry. Ingram, Richardson, Yeldon, all suck, DBU, puts out Defensive Backs, no Gumpster can match PP21 or Tyrann Mathieu, and I'm sure that we have better Linebackers than the Vaunted Jack Linebackers from Tuscaloosa, get out your Tissues and your excuses.

the other day I was looking at his game logs and he didn't ever force a turnover in his time at Alabama.

0 INT's
0 fumbles forced
0 fumble recoveries

I don't know how many games he started but I think this is a little telling.

I think he's got good range/instincts but we need a guy who take the ball away as well.

Weird. Alabama had 5 players voted All-Pro this year (2 linebackers, 2 defensive backs, 1WR)

LSU had 1

I dont need my MLB to get INTs, I need him to smash anything within 10 yards of the LoS. Something Foster does better than pretty much anyone. Including Cunningham.

Lacy is equivalent to Hill, good few years and bad since.

Henry was a rookie and ended the season outperforming a top 10rb in murray

What lsu rb is better than Ingram?

Richardson is bad.

Yeldon I agree are just not doing well

There's only speculation about Leonard Fournette, but I've watched LSU for over 45 Years and he's the best Running Back, I've ever seen, and there's been a few good ones to pass through

I'd love foster here but he's not the athlete willis was/is. That's not a knock because Willis was a freak.

I want no part of tim williams

Nope give me Beckwith

What's Beckwith's projection looking like? I'd be ecstatic with him in the second but think 11 is too high. That knee injury has to push him down a few spots one would think.

Wasn't he considered a second rounder before the injury?

Honestly given our history with the medical staff on both the Pels and Saints, I wouldn't take him until late 3rd or 4th. I think someone will get a steal though

I can't imagine Beckwith's still around by the third unless the assessment of his injury recovery starts looking bad.

You don't think he could drop 1 round given the fact that he just tore his ACL late in the season? He wasn't a lock for the 1st before his injury.

LINK

Maybe he'll be able to do some kind of workout before and elevate himself. I love the guy, so I hope he goes high

Anything is possible in the draft, but I just don't see him falling to the mid 3rd unless bad news comes out about his knee. Guy had a tremendous year. I think he really demonstrated that he can run a defense from that MLB spot and really influence a game.

I'm not even worried about him going high, I'd just love to see him in the black and gold at a position of need.
