For everyone who hates Winston

I hope he wins 3 Super Bowls as the starting qb of the saints and you have to go the rest of your lives listening to ppl debate whether he’s the saints greatest all-time qb 
that would be pretty awesome

I support the Jameis signing, but if he won us 3 Superbowls, he should be considered the greatest QB for the Saints and I would have no problem with that. Hell, I still place Brooks above Archie and Bobby because he won us a playoff game. Winning is all I care about.

I think the ones that hate him would still have negative things to say even if he wins and clean his act up

Is your point that it’s not okay to judge a player on the information we have at the moment, and it’s more reasonable to predict that the player will be great in the future based on nothing just because he signed with your team?
That’s dumb. I don’t live in fantasy world. In my world, I like to look at things objectively to form logical, rational opinions.
Could he turn his career around? Sure. But right now he is just a great young backup qb on a great deal who has started a lot of games, and who no other team wanted as a starter.

You’re a white male approximately 35-39, lives in mom and dads basement because you don’t see anything wrong with it. Black ppl may make you uncomfortable at certain times but you don’t hate them. I am glad Adrian Magee signed with the Saints and hope he makes the team, but I think I'll go watch Cleveland, Cincinnati, Kansas City and all my ex-LSU players while Jameis is a Saint.

Correct. I watch more LSU than Saints anyway.
The difference between Drew and Jameis character wise is like light and dark. Night and day.
I don't recall ever hearing that Drew stole from a grocery or was a accused of rape and groping.

Problem is we can't go by what he may do, we can only go by what he has done. And he's statistically been a below average QB. If he goes out and wins 3 SB's I'd be ecstatic about being wrong. I don't hate him and I want him to do great, he's just never done anything in his NFL career to prove he's anything more than an average QB.

People don’t like him because of his past at FSU (sexual assault swept under rug, steaks crab legs at publix), then he was drafted/played for a division rival so that fuels the dislike. He proceeds to demonstrate a low IQ with his finger licking good pregame talk before the Nov 2017 Saints vs Bucs game.
If he grows up, shows some maturity, and plays well, people will warm up to him. Drew Brees has endeared himself to NOLA - not all QBs do that with their home city. Winston would be smart to if he wants to stick around.
