He’s not the offensive coach. And Allen’s record this year is equal to what Sean Payton did multiple years with Drew friggin Brees and a younger, healthier team.

I agree. It is common now for NFL teams to let go of coaches after 1 season. No point in wasting time if you know the guy you hired is not going to work out long term. Cut bait and move on. I have no confidence the saints have the balls to do this under Gail. Would be too mean to poor old DA.

I’m just lowering my expectations going forward. I fully expect him to be retained and for us to get horrible compensation for Payton. This year was really a waste of time and it will likely always be that way until DA is out.
