Not gunna lie, thought this ball was going 5 feet into the stands when I first saw it leave Drew's arm

Agree - thought was “& Drew over throws him”. Great catch to get the feet down.

Still can't figure out why he didn't just turn around and face the ball

That catch was a damn thing of beauty! Tre’Quan has really turned into a vital part of our offense with his run blocking ability and speed. He’s fit in nicely as the WR3 even if he most likely won’t ever be a primary option.

Yep. I think Tre'Quan is a legit #3 all day.

I think his ceiling is a #2, but I won't hold it against him if he never reaches that.

I don’t think he will ever separate well enough to be a legit #2. That’s what makes Emmanuel Sanders the ideal #2 type guy. He’s crafty in his route running and his his breaks to get separation from the corner and he he’s very good at knowing when to cone back for the ball and do his own number to get open. It took a good month for Drew to learn how he works but now that he does you can see he’s become a safety blanket for him.

Well, I wasn't sure why Brees felt the need to float it to him, but it was TD and we'll leave it at that.

considering Terron Armstead had to help pick up Drew so Drew could see the touchdown...

Brees said after the game that he couldn’t see Trequan because of the Pass rush

From the side angle it was hard to see. All I could tell is there was no one directly in his face. But he a short fella, so I guess the rusher didn't need to be directly in his face.

Are you that outfielder in baseball that runs down a long fly ball, turns his hips completely around to face the ball, just to have it sail over your head?
That is the guy you remind me of when I read your comment. That would leave him in a poor position to make late adjustments to the ball.

Ram then Ruiz both got pushed into him. Was good footwork by Brees to get it off
