I would think if they weren't watching they wouldn't be on this board. Maybe try not posting in an echo chamber of your own personal thoughts

I legit don’t care either way. But how is it that you find yourself posting on this board if you don’t watch the games?

Are you really this simple? The problem you people have is you think only in terms of black in white. It seems you have difficulty differentiating people who aren’t happy with some of the things said and done in the off-season from those who said they won’t watch or won’t watch as much.

Last I checked, those who said they weren’t going to watch still have the ability to follow the team in different ways and they can also change their stance as the BLM propaganda machine lessens. I, for one, have a habit over 12 years of clicking on certain boards and I just happen to land on this board from time to time. It’s great to see y’all are still caught up on those who have a different outlook on political issues and sports than you. God forbid if some people don’t blindly follow all players just because they are wearing black and gold.

This. Winston does enough shitposting we didn't need more coming back.

No one is following a player. As a matter of fact, I bet 99% of us disagree will 99% of them. We follow the team we love and I refuse to turn my back on Drew Brees who has done more for our franchise than any player ever. Never in your life will you have as much to lose as him, so don’t even try to say what you’d have done in his situation.

It’s funny that you’re trying to claim we care so much about what other people think, yet you guys are the ones quitting on your team because of what “other people think.”

Ask Sir Winston. He said he wouldn't watch the Saints. Which was a lie.

I remember how much visceral disdain I felt for Tom Benson after he tried to claim breach of contract over a technicality in order to move the Saints out of Louisiana post-Katrina. He would've fricked the city had Tagliabue not stepped in. But to his credit, Benson later did make amends to NOLA many times in many ways. I forgave him, but I never forgot.

I said that to say, after Brees cucked to Jenkins/Kamara/Thomas/et al, I watched most games but was pretty indifferent whether the team won or lost, or even if they would have hypothetically decided to move to another city. I was meh. I just didn't want to hear about the virtue signalling & political identifying during games and would turn it off if I had my fill. But around the 2nd Bucs game, the in-your face agenda significantly quieted down from the broadcasts and Brees & Bros seemingly just started playing football, with infrequent hashtag triggers. It actually became watchable again. I've forgiven but I haven't forgotten.

Honestly just sounds like the winning got you back on track.

Even if the agenda significantly quieted down, do you think you would have jumped back on board if we lost that game to move to 4-5 or whatever on the season?

Not sure. Probably some political stuff. I don’t pay attention to any of that nonsense

It’s curious the Saints and the NFL have also been very quiet with the BLM propaganda machine lately it seems.

All of the Saints were wearing #sayhername shirts today. The movement is still there, but the media moved on.
