our defense will be up to it's standards of bottom tier in the league and our offense who usually as to play lights for us to win, will be taking a few steps back this year

mix those two ingredients together, bake for 16 games, and you get 5-11

Drew with the 31st ranked D and an injured shoulder all season a year ago still managed to win 7 games and keep us in striking distance in 11 games....your math is incorrect 2+2 does not equal fish.

Yea, the Falcons Oline will be dead last in the nfl, again.

Apparently drafting Jake Matthews was a bust. I actually thought it was a great move at the time but leave it to my Birds to always pick the shitty one out of the bunch.

Falcons have traded for a Titans OL, Levitre.

He was a pretty big FA for the Titans a few years ago that was a total bust. In danger of being cut.

Getting Levitre for a 6th round pick next year and conditional in 2017 isn't too shabby.

PFF had Levitre as their 142nd, 13th, 8th and 5th best guard from 2014 - 2011, respectively.

So as long as last year was the anomaly, the Falcons just drastically improved their Oline. However, if last year is now the new norm, well, our Oline still sucks balls.

The risk on Levitre is his contract. He has a cap hit of $27.3mil over the next 4 years. Anything less than stellar will be worse than Grubbs ($23.6mil next 4 years)

Agreed. Think I read that his cap hit is near 6 or 8 mill. next year. Ouch.

Well then I guess it's going to be quite the cripple fight watching our pass rush going up against ATL's O-line.

That's actually not a bad thing. It's worse to be an 8-8, just miss the playoffs and have a shitty mid round pick like 15.

Top 5 pick is something to look forward to. 7-9 and 8-8 is just depressing
