Was at a flag football game yesterday. Didn't see this fairly play everyone is talking about. Got a clip?

I looked for one but I couldn't really find one. It isn't something that was like super blatant and deserves its own video.

The Chiefs ran a reverse sweep and it looked like Ware had the ball for a second but the ball went the other way. Fairley had his head down and just tackled him pretty hard when the ball was all the way on the other side of the field. Not particularly dirty, was just far away from the play.

Not an accurate description of the penalty at all. It was obvious Ware did not have the ball and he even stopped running. The ref was actually walking onto the field, which implies the play was over, then Fairley hip tossed Ware to the ground. The flag was warranted as the play was over, and wasn't even on that side of the field. Would have been a penalty in any era.

I didn't say the flag was not warranted or that it would not have been called in the past. I just described what happened. The hit itself was not really that dirty. It was just the fact that it was far away from the play.

It had a very impulsive feel to it. Failey was kind of tied up with him and he jerked his to the side rather violently but seemed to think better of it, mid-toss and sort of eased him down to the ground.

It wasn't Charles Martin against McMahon by any stretch but it was dumb and it cost us a legitimate chance at sending the game to OT.

I didn't see it but I would go ahead and say the same thing he did to Jordon Jefferson, picked him up and slammed him to the ground. Dude was a cheap shot specialist at Auburn.

Fairley knew he didn't have the ball and still threw him to the ground.

I too didnt see the game or the play. But when I first read of Fairleys incident I immedietly thought "the guy was playing full of emotion. Noone knows what he was thinking. I think he gets a pass for this bonehead move"

I'd like to see it for myself, but I think my stance remains. Give the guy a break; he just lost his mother.

The odd thing is he basically placed him softly on the ground (holding him up). Not sure why he flipped him only to lay him down on the ground.

That video is nothing like what this comment described.

Look at the Link I just posted

He was watching the WR across the field run with the ball and still decided to throw ware to the ground.

It would of been 3rd and long going to the 2 min warning. Saints could of forced the 3 and out and get the ball with at least 1:20-1:30 left down 3.

Almost like he seen the ref as he was going to the ground.

Is that really how you saw that? I must have seen a different play.

The RB went out of bounds on the play, KC would have had to run a play before the 2 minute warning which could have given us plenty of time. Considering down and distance, they may have had to pass; which could have resulted in us having a play before the 2 minute warning.
