Lots to things we needed to do better yesterday, and the complete lack of urgency was ridiculous. No matter what CSP says, that was not winning football.

Another thing I’m amazed by was the lack of targets for MT13. He’s a machine. Yesterday, he had 8 catches on 8 targets. With the Eagles secondary decimated with injury, you make the game simple for your QB by feeding Thomas the ball on quick passes all afternoon. Taysom clearly has a comfort level with him. He should have had double the targets, and he absolutely has to be the #1 option on 4th and 2.

Other teams realize that if the team can’t stop a particular player, you keep going back to them until they prove that they can (like Raiders TE against us earlier this year – 12 catches on 16 targets).

It sometime seems like Coach wants to win by out scheming or outsmarting the other team with a bunch of different guys involved. Maybe that’s ego. But, sometimes you don’t need to outsmart or out scheme the other team. Just feed your guy who’s better than their guy.

I agree to an extent. Darius Slay was healthy though and he is one of the best CBs in the NFL. Mike owned him but that is not necessarily someone you want to keep testing if your QB is Taysom Hill

Why do that when you can run screens to Kamara, Murray, Josh Hill, Trautman, and Trequan Smith that gain 0 yards all game? Neither Thomas or Sanders were targeted nearly enough and the few times they were it worked flawlessly.

And on the opposite side of the field from where the play was.

The same people shitting on Hill at every opportunity also expect him to make a somewhat elite throw.

Darius Slay been complete trash this season. What are you talking about? People on here also been saying their dline is one of the best. What games have you guys been watching? Saints got dominated defensively by a terrible unit. Terron Armstead was getting his arse whipped by a nobody. Taysom over there struggling against bums because he has no business playing QB. Any competent QB puts 30 point easy against the Eagles. Taysom couldn't score a point in the whole 1st half.
