Watching the game got me to thinking that if Brees and SP hadn't worked out, I do think they would have been moved/left.

Yeah it's crazy that we hadn't won on MNF in 13 years. Think of how many MNF and SNF blowouts we've had since then.

Kornheiser was excellent in this game. He understood the moment after the block and acted as a cheerleader for the city all game.

I thought he was awful. Yes, he did cheerlead first the city, which was nice, but evidently to them, the lower ninth was the only area hit. Plus, that horrible accent and he once said, “ you heard the crowd respond with glee.” Wtf?

if you place that game into a vacuum... it was really a boring game after the end of the 1st quarter

esp. as FG after FG went through and the Saints slowly pulled away

but again... that's only if you place that game into a vacuum... which is almost impossible to do in that situation
