No Bryd just sucked. He had some big injuries when we signed him. Even Buffalo fans were wary of giving him a big payday. He wasn’t the same player. Nothing to do with the pass rush.

What does that have to do with my post? I didn’t say all first rounders work out. But they work out a lot more than the burned day two picks do.

That’s the list. That’s currently all your options in 6 other rounds in over a decade and a half currently playing any type of meaningful time. Only 3 guys from day 2 in that list and only one of them would you be excited about having on your team. Very low ceiling across that group as a whole even in their primes.

Barron would fill one of our immediate needs. The Saints traded away Lattimore and lost Paulson in FA. To the Giants. We have a glaring hole at CB.
I would have No problem with Barron at 9 and Highins out of Iowa in second. Ewers at pick 40 Hell No!
Williams DLNT out of Ohio or Highins from Iowa makes more since.
