I think we have and had a solid idea about Teddy before the last two games but we now know for sure. I’m not gonna say anything negative because you can lead in many ways and the team believe in him which is why we’ve won the last two weeks so I’ll leave it at that.

I’m not going to say it’s a blessing in disguise because we still have some games to play and it will really depend on how effectively Drew can throw when he comes back.
But the good things that have come from the situation are:
1. We know that the defense can be leaned on to win some games.
2. It’s shown that TB will likely not be the guy post Drew and hopefully we don’t give him a big long term contract that we may have if Drew had remained healthy all season. And SP will know that he will likely have to go for a replacement in the draft sooner rather than later.
3. It helps Drew realize whether or not he wants to hang it up this year by giving him a small glimpse of what retirement will be like. Any other significant injury and it would have likely pushed him towards retirement, but because it’s a thumb I think it has the opposite effect if he can come back and have the same accuracy as before.
I think the team has handled the situation about as well as we all could have hoped to at this point. And I believe it’s given everyone confidence in their ability to win even without DB.

Certainly not a blessing, but .... with Drew, thought we were in good shape if we came out of the first 4 games at 2-2. As it turns out, the next 4 are a challenge. Keep Drew out as long as we can if the W’s keep up. A “fresh” Brees arm in the second half of the season could be the difference in the long run.

Absolutely. This team is finding other ways to win.
In the playoffs, this is key. At some point you’ll play a game where your normal bag of tricks won’t work. Gotta find another way to get it done.
Def a blessing in disguise.

I don’t know how you could say either of things at this point. Unless you think he won’t improve because its been pretty average.

Do you see him doing something completely different than he has up till this point? I don’t
I see a guy keeping us a float which is what a backup gets paid to do.

Doesn't matter how we won-those games were going to be a toss-up with Brees….

Thanks for providing this positive outlook. Its refreshing and much needed among our fanbase. Adversity breeds character and refines identity. We have proved our resilience. Let's keep it up

Dink and Dunk football gets you into field goal range, or at the very least, moves the chains enough to give your defense a breather before they go back out.
I didn’t realize our defense was this good.

Just know if we get to the SB, it’s more than likely because of what we dealt with during this stretch. Just know it’ll be more a blessing than you think. Gotta view it down the line.
