Why your team stinks! Drew was pretty accurate so far

Your coach: Still Dennis Allen, because being good for so many years apparently made owner Gayle Benson tired. Hard to keep up appearances when you’re so old and frail and awful. So Allen remains, although former co-defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen lit out for the greener pastures of … Atlanta? Meanwhile, his co-DC Kris Richard was fired outright. Offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael is still around to tell players, This is how Sean would’ve done it, before they go three-and-out again. But this time, Carmichael has been given a slippery ace to keep in his back pocket:

I’d like to think that this extended reversion to the Jim Mora days will get Saints fans to, at long last, shut the frick up. But who am I kidding? You people are louder than a fart in a cemetery, and always will be

The most significant move New Orleans made this offseason was to snatch a first- and a second-rounder from Denver for the rights to Sean Payton. Will it be hard for Saints fans to watch the best coach in their team’s history ply his trade in another city while they go 7-10 again? Oh don’t worry, they’ll tell you all about it.

The best thing about the Saints is that they'll get to host the 2025 Super Bowl, which runs in juxtaposition with the fact that that's all they'll do with it. This is New Orleans’ true legacy: a great place to visit and a great place to leave. They had to take their practices indoors because the planet has been colonized by Hell, and they signed an offensive lineman named Tommy Kraemer, which sounds like the old Vikings quarterback Tommy Kramer, which reminds us that the current Saints quarterback is Derek Carr, who provided the first four of head coach Dennis Allen's 38 career losses. Life is a circle, and so is the direction of the water as it heads down your drain.

well he is right and wrong - we did get their picks, but i do not think we have to be upset with SP's performance in Denver - if anything, it looks like to straight up NO robbed Denver of those picks

Yep, SP and DA should have stayed married. Instead, Sean moved into a shitty apartment while Dennis got a house with termites and a cracked slab.

I'm shocked the Allen/Carr combo is not working, shocked!

The comments after the article are even better.

The people of Louisiana have basically moved on to cheering for teams with former LSU players.

For all the talk about not paying running backs and smart teams hoarding draft picks, I'm proud to be a fan of the team that has never once done a fiscally smart or analytical savvy thing. Give Taysom $100 mil and let Kamara be the mayor! Who cares!
quote:
The Saints went 7-10 last year, and their response this season is to try to re-assemble the Jon Gruden 2.0 Raiders, whose pinnacle was an 8-8 season in 2020. This is some dark shot.
quote:
Derek Carr? Fudging seriously? That’s the best we can do?
quote:
With all the shite that this team went through with quarterbacks last year, there’s no way they would go get a second-rate QB and give him a stupid amount of guaranteed money, would they? That would be freaking stupid, right?
quote:
This team will be lucky to go 7-10, and the worst part is that that might still be good enough for a playoff berth in this fever blister of a division. Can't wait!

My thoughts since he went out to eat with Allen and Loomis at Ralph’s on the Park. Derek fricking Carr…that’s your guy?

Now you can’t find any of the 90 percent of the people on this board who endorsed Derek Carr since March. Wonder where they all went.
The people who spent all offseason saying Carr was the answer are just like the people who have absolved Archie Manning from all of the Saints terrible play during his career. “He was hurt … he didn’t have a supporting cast … He had a bunch of different coaches, etc.” It’s as if Carr had nothing to do with the Raiders’ struggles much like Mannkng had nothing to do with the Saints’ struggles.

They're hiding because they exposed themselves not knowing shite about anything outside of New Orleans.
They bought hook, line and sinker the idea that Carr was good because shills like Underhill were happy with the move and put out fluff pieces about 4th quarter comebacks, the lack of coaching stability, etc.
Anyone who paid attention to the league for the last decade knew Derek Carr is arse and had nothing to do with anything around him. Dude is a bonehead.

This was already anyone with a brains prediction this year.

Out of curiosity, I wonder what his predictions were for Denver.
Also, what the hell does he have against Gumbo? I mean this is a pretty damn solid melt

Drew Margary is a far far left wackjob and deserves no space on this board. He used to be funny (like 12 years ago). Now he sucks and smells his own farts.

As for the Gumbo bashing. I think on another article he said he was a Turtle Soup person. The OT lounge had that debate .

Far right journalism wants you to think the Dallas Cowboys are the greatest sheet on earth.
