I could be wrong, but I don't recall re-signing him this off-season.

Regardless, he won't be on the updated 53 after the draft. They're bound to draft somebody, anybody if that's one of our best reserves.

Hopefully Austin Howard is the guy.

Snead is considered signed with us currently.

Harris has not resigned with us nor anyone else that I saw. Not sure how reliable that site you're using is. OTC and spotrac are pretty good about that stuff.

DL definitely glaringly a priority when you look at it i this context. WR need quality depth as well.

Did Fleener get cut?

No. Projecting him not to make the 53. Judgment call. Any of the TEs past Watson could be cut.

I was wondering the same

Didn't realize at first that this was your prediction with projected moves.

Paging Bonethug for cap implications of cutting Fleener

Cannot cut him now (we lose cap), but if cut post June 1st we save $3 mil but leave behind $5 mil in dead money.

Given what we have at TE, unless the concussions have ended his career, we are very likely keeping him one more year.

Drafting a TE in the first may affect that, but I think we'd still lean to keeping him.

We don't really save the $3.2 million, it still hurts our cap space next year and so it isn't helpful unless the Saints plan on using that space this season.

Updated WRs

Gave Coleman the WR4 spot for now since he's here and was ahead of Carr last year.

That leaves Carr, Snead and Lewis fighting for one (maybe two) spots.

Definitely not seeing Fleener going anywhere unless we pull another Graham in the third (don't see it this year).

We either roll with 4 or cut one of Hill/Hooman.

And this definitely looks like an 8 Olinemen year. Turner is FAAAAARRRR from safe and I expect his spot to be filled by a swing tackle, with Bushrod being our G/T guy.
