Winston would be a vastly different QB in a better situation than he has had thus far. A year or two with Brees showing him what a true professional QB is like could flip his maturity switch. He would immediately be the best backup quarterback in the league. Being coached up and having someone explain the game to him like Payton might turn him around.

Despite all of his mistakes he was able to be successful in college and win a national championship. There is clearly something there and if he grows up it might show up consistently. The market will dictate his landing spot and if it works for both the Saints may be the best choice.
