Do we still feel the Saints could have handled the Eagles?

I could see us being a better matchup than the Vikings, but they didn't slow down one bit last night. Foles was on a mission for sure.

Injuries were too much of a factor on defense and even though the game might have been closer, I still feel Philly would have been in the Super Bowl.

But next year the Saints win in the butthole, boys

Shore up our young and exciting defense, give drew a few more weapons (come home, Jimmy), and we're right there at the top. Overachieved this year, next year is the run.

It's difficult to say because some teams just match up better with others. With that said, it would have been more difficult than many realize. Their front 4 would have given our o-line trouble all day w/o Peat. I believe our secondary would have done a better job, but their TEs & RBs could have ended up with career days against our depleted front 7.

Who knows, but kinda scary that they'll arguably be better with Wentz back

Atlanta played them close and tough, we would’ve had a shot. I’m confident it wouldn’t have played out like the Minny game at least

ETA: Minnesota against Eagles, not us to clarify

Brady completely exploited their Defense so I am sure Brees could have done it too. This game just straight up turned into a track meet and Philadelphia made the one play at the critical time in the game to seal it. After watching that though they were definitely beatable.

I wish we would have gotten the chance but the reality is we go to Philly and get the Vikings treatment on the other end of the buzz saw.

I dunno. We have two killer running backs and they have a 3 headed monster at running back. Those boys were on a mission last night.

Jeffery and Lattimore would been of been a matchup that's for sure. No one gave Eagles the chance and they proved everyone wrong. I respect them for that.

Foles gets hot for two games and everyone forgets that Atlanta should have won that game against Philly.
