Did the NFL cancel the cancer awareness (pink uniform options) in 2020?

October typically brings in a wave of pink uniform options (towels, cleats, socks, mouthpieces, etc) for Breast cancer awareness. I don’t recall seeing any players wearing pink during games this season. Did the NFL cancel or just delay this uniform option? Just wondering because I’m the past, it seemed as though pink was everywhere.

That's been gone for a good while, found out the NFL was basically keeping all the money.

they did however put the cancer stripes on either side of the "it takes all of us" end zone markings to change it from "we must all stop racism" to "we must all stop cancer"

I was a little off, but basically for every $100 spent by a fan, $12.50 of it went to the NFL, $11.25 of it went to the American Cancer Society, and then 37.5% went to the company who made the merchandise, and then the remaining of the money (about 50%) went to the company who sold the merchandise, which was often the NFL or the NFL's teams.

Americans have forgone cancer treatments, heart disease treatments, and screening checks, and health checkups because of COVID-19.

Mental health issues, suicides, and a myriad of illnesses will kill many Americans because of the focus on all things COVID-19.

This falls under the law of unintended consequences or maybe intended consequences.

They are doing the rainbow or multi color to represent every type of cancer. They've been doing it since last year. That's why you see the multi color hats on the sidelines.

Notice how many things are sold for "breast cancer awareness". It's 2020, no one is unaware of breast cancer.

All that stuff is a scam. If you want to help fund cancer research, donate to MD Anderson. All those "save the tatas" shirts aren't doing a damn thing to help cure cancer.
