He’s doing it right but next year will be even better. We can get off of Peat’s contract which will only help getting ve more money to bringing back McCoy, CGJ, Onyemata and Harty. Hopefully Ruiz shows something this year in year 3 and then we can draft Peat’s replacement through the draft and have a solid young interior combo. There will be plenty of srtarting capable guards in the 2nd round since we don’t have a first.

The difference is he is actually doing it.
spayton sucked big time at defense and special teams.
Kind of necessary to be a good team.
As an offensive genius that he is supposed to be…. he was pretty bad at putting together a complete WR group and TE at the same time.
Also with subpar skilled positions on offense you would think he could have afforded to get better defensive talent. (Failed)
I’ll wait for you to respond with the Captain Obvious exceptions to the rule.

I’m not convinced that our defense will be better this year. Can Jordan and DeMario Davis aren’t getting any younger, Malcolm Jenkins retired, and Marcus Williams left.

14TDs 3Int. His last year in TB, he was in the 30TDs and 30INT club.
