Has this board finally realized the hire was terrible yet?

It was a comfortable, lazy hire like it or not.

Lazy hire yes, comfortable what? How's that a comfortable hire? The dude was an awful HC before and even though he turned around our D his D is inconsistent. How many ex-players or workers warned it was a bad hire? Looks like they were right. You had plenty of options and they settled for an extension of Payton's staff without Payton. Think about that for a second. NVM the coaching this organization front office is fricked.

Time to load up the brown paper bags and let history repeat itself. You're going through another miserable decade of football with this dysfunctional organization.

They had ex-players/workers for Raiders under him on many podcasts saying how confused they were by this hire. One of them said he ripped the locker room up and was completely in over his head. It was some girl that worked under him. She said maybe he improved over the years but there's no way he was HC material for any organization. Was pretty savage. Not sure what her name was. I'm sure you can Google some of them.

I wonder how he would've done with a different oc and a healthy jameis.

Does look in over his head with zero fire.

Too nice. No fire.

Comfortable because he’s been with the Saints for years and there were going to be no major style changes.

That's the problem. Your FO is the issue as they're just going to control and override anything. Carmichael in the position he's in is another example. Anyone have confidence these dumbasses can do anything? I sure don't. I think we have another age of brown paper bags coming. Has to be blamed on pill head Payton too for not getting us another QB. He set us back years.

It would take a miracle for a QB to fall into our lap unless we can get super lucky in draft. We gave up our fricking 1st round pick. The way things are going we may have a top 5 pick.

The front office has been good.

I still don't see the saints getting a top 5 pick but maybe I'll be wrong.
