I've not been overly impressed with him. No thanks.

As has already been said we need pass rush.

I will be very disapointed if we do not draft someone for the front seven of our defense with our first pick. OLB, DT, or DE. I would prefer an edge rusher.

No former Bama player will ever get a fair shake as a Saints player.

The Saints don't need to take a CB in the first round but some of the shite posted about Dee in this thread are ridiculous. Dude got robbed not winning The Thorpe award this year.

Even if they sign a Michael Johnson, Osi, Avril, or Freeney?

This is a ridiculous statement! If they produce Saints fans will like them. When Ingram was drafted very few people complained about the pick bc he was from Bama!

If they produce, Saints fans will like them.

Yes, even if we sign one of those guys. There are probably other options besides the ones you listed, but I am not confident that any of those guys that you listed will solve the Saints pass rush issues. They may help, but for how long? We need a long term solution.

Also, in my opinion, the front four in particular is so important to defensive success in this league that we can't afford to put all our eggs in one basket. I think we need at least one key free agent and an early round draft pick. If they both pan out then even better. It's not like you can have too many people to put pressure on the qb. You rotate them and put them in different spots.

I don't really think we need any DBs. MAYBE a safety. The entire secondary is decent as a whole, they just need good pressure from the front 7.

I would take Trent Richardson or Julio Jones in New Orleans in a heartbeat. And I'm an LSU fan. Milliner was just praised because he plays for Bama. He's just not that good of a player as Bama fans make him out to be.

This.

Doubt it, besides, when Dre played against Cruz he used Saban's technique and Cruz didn't get open.

Jackson is becoming one of the better CBs in the NFL and Milliner is ten times the CB Kareem ever was in college.

Watch. Tape. He's elite. He's better than Dre was, he plays aggressive, and he's good in run support. Clings to his man, and in zone he's got great instincts. With a reported sub 4.4 forty he's got elite speed as well.

Xavier Rhodes is much much better football player. Rhodes' lack of "stats" is from oppenent staying away from his side of the field.
