This really needs to become a national story. Florio may cover it but probably no one else.
The saints brought all off this on their self by winning the Superbowl when they wer not designated /anointed to do so.
There is nothing you or I can do about it. The NFL is not a sport. It is entertainment. Legally they do not have to be fair.
Sucks. This is why I have tried to distance my self, with only moderate success, from the NFL scam.
Wouldn't it be great if the NFL wasn't so rigged.

All Saints fans should start tweeting the article...try to make it go viral or have at least one of the national sports shows pick it up.

It sucks, but I think deeper and more sophisticated statistical analysis would be require to reach a conclusion that is both
valid and reliable from a scientific perspective.
But at least that article illustrates that there is enough smoke to get our attention.

A graph depicting the Saints and their opponents broken down into four game segments to reflect the season in quarters would show a huge enormous spike in first downs by penalty in this last four game stretch for Saints opponents while first downs by penalty for the Saints has approached zero.
Of course, there are other glaring stats as well. If you want to Twitter campaign discrepancies, you have to keep it simple at first.
You could add later that the Saints during their last four games have twice the amount of penalties and three times the amount of penalty yards compared to opponents.
