Completely agree...and neither is a #1. We need a true #1 BADLY

Agree with OP. Jerry Jones feels like the smartest man in the world when in reality it took his whole staff to convince him from not taking Johnny Manziel last year. We need to stop looking for the sexy pick and focus on getting the big uglies that will win at the LOS. You give drew time and rush the passer and it makes all of the skill positions look better.

The thing I like about the Dallas O line is that they are all road grader type guys from BIG schools with BIG established football programs that KNOW how to produce proven football talent. There aren't really any "reaches" or stretches or "projects" or gambles where they took a chance on a guy hoping something will pan out in year 3. I looked them up a couple of weeks ago, and almost all of those new guys in Dallas come from very solid, well known, established football schools.

He won't do either.
Almost all restructures are simply converting salary into signing bonus to push the cap hit into future seasons. Not only does it help us get Brees some help, but he gets paid a chunk of money up front instead of being paid weekly over the course of the season. There is literally no reason for him not to do this.

I really don't think the D-line is as bad off as most people think. We're honestly just one great pass rusher away from having a really good one honestly.

In all honesty we have invested heavily (as far as money goes) to our o-line.....But yes I do agree that Grubbs/Goodwin/Evans all need to go.......Lelito at Center would be an upgrade over Goody, La'el Collins would almost instantly have to be an upgrade over what Grubbs & Evans have been the last 2 years
I hate to say it but I honestly think Colston needs to be cut also.... He's not a #1WR anymore even though his pay keeps going up......I only own 3 Saints jerseys, Deuce, Colston, & Brees so trust me when I say it's hard for me to wanto to get rid of Colston but it's time unfortunately

Anyone ever hear anything about Carl Nicks since he left TB?......I know that's a long shot considering his toe health, but if he's thinking about coming back I bet he would definitely come back to NOLA, if he would in fact be healthy that is
