We are currently running for the same amount of ypg as last year 114. That number will do the passing game no favors.
Same goes for penalties & bad pass protection at times by the offensive line. It's all drive killing errors that puts the rest of the offense & young QB in difficult down & distance situations. An offense even with a good/great veteran QB won't be very successful being in 2nd & 3rd & long over & over again.

Where does he rank in downfield psssing accuracy?
I would also like to see where the offense ranks in average down & distance in comparison to the rest of the league.

Some really nice throws there.
Most of the people that hate rattler already said he sucked so now they won't change their stance.

Last year he showed high flashes and low lows. Through two games he has showed extreme moderatism, low propensity for turnovers, a sense of the pocket, and getting the ball out quickly and mostly on target.
Just needs to work on consistency.

Why should anyone really care about what happened under Dennis Allen/Rizzi?
Sure, this year is fair game.

I have nothing against Rattler this season. He is fine for a rebuilding season. I don’t know why you seem so invested in him. Most of the people here want the Saints to win. I’d bet if other “coaches” in the NFL liked Rattler as much as you think he’d be on their roster and already starting for them.

There's no way anyone can give a definitive to this question. Rattler is still a young developing QB who is still learning ins & outs of playing at the NFL level. Why do so many people think he's a finished product already?
That’s true. If I was a betting man I’d say he isn’t a long term starter in the NFL. That doesn’t mean he can’t have a nice career as a back up. He can possibly end up being a serviceable back up for the Saints. I’ll take that for now. Hopefully we can find a QB with more talent down the road though to come in and compete for the job. A Shough and Rattler QB room is incredibly weak.

Oh no Rattler sisters, Underhill says plays ARE being called and thrown down field at a league average rate. They're just not connecting.

As one pundit said recently, “let me know when he wins a game.” He’s had a few nice plays, but that’s it.

I’m not seeing that . Quit being a drive by . Majority believes he needs more time.

Chalk didn't say otherwise.
