Cowherd says 1/3 of the league needs to take a QB...Saints are not one of them.

Falcons
Jets
Giants
Packers
Bears
Raiders
Bucs
Vikings
Patriots
Commanders
Seahawks---Geno isnt taking them to the Super Bowl.

Add in Rams would take one with a Top 10 pick as Stafford only has one year left on his deal.

Giants aren’t taking a qb early with the extension they gave Jones. Same for the Seahawks. We’d take a qb before them.

And if Cousins isn’t a Viking, he will likely be on one of the teams listed.

8 of those teams in the NFC. Shocking that Saints & Cards didn't make that list either.

QB play in the NFL is really bad right now, and absolutely terrible in the NFC.

Giants can get out of his contract after next season.

Cardinals are only not on the list because Cowherd believes in Kyler, which is very odd given his weird backwards hat theory on QBs.

What did he have to say about Dwayne Haskins?

Considering the source is a dumbass, I’m not surprised he left the Saints off.

Kirk Cousins (once recovered) could be a good option if a team is looking to make a run on a 1-2 year window

Any team can get out of a contract after one year. 82 million of that contract is fully guaranteed. Think they gonna pay him that much for one year of play?

if Jones' 2022 performance turns out to be a flash in the pan, the Giants will be able to move on from him after the 2024 NFL season. At that point, they can cut or trade him while only taking on a dead-cap hit of $22.2 million

Rather than keep paying him to not be good.

That’s correct, but that’s only if they carry a 47 million dollar cap hit next year and don’t restructure it at all and push the salary into future years. They restructured it once already a few months after he signed it…..

Yeah, bite the bullet for a year.

Before the season. During the season he's lived up to their worst fears when giving him the contract.

I'm guessing that he likes Carr or doesn't put the finger on him. He specifically said that Cousins is not taking you to a Super Bowl, so I guess it doesn't matter who the team is.
