They gain some momentum and play at home against Green Bay in 10 days.

Will want to keep their first place status with a win.

Saints need Green Bay to lose one more at least.

Why?

We're the 1-seed already.

Because if Seattle loses one game we go to the #2 seed.

Unfortunately, the Packers probably won't be losing this week. They play the 1-7 Jags at home.

Their 2 games after that aren't guaranteed wins. @ Colts & Bears at home.

We. Are. Already. The. One. Seed.

Did you just snort some meth?

No. Green Bay is not losing this week but they still have some semi hard games left.

Saints have a huge home game later this season against the Chiefs.

You do realize there are games left.

We go to the #2 seed if it is a two way tie between us and Green Bay.

So if we win out and Green Bay wins out with Seattle losing one game the Saints are the #2 seed. Seattle has a lot of hard games left and will lose one more game.

To put it back in Saints Control Green Bay has to lose one more game.

No, we don't. We are both 6-2. If they held the tiebreaker they would be the current #1 seed.

Nope.

Your problem is you think head to head is more important than conference losses.

It isn't.

Because we should want to pad our lead by having those around us lose. I mean why question why we would want GB to lose?

I'm not questioning it. I'm merely stating that we don't need it.

We win out and we are the #1 seed. Period.

Praying for others to lose is bitch work. Just win and everything falls into place.

You can't be that dense. We are in first because there is a 3 way tie, and since we didn't all play each other (neither us nor GB plays Seattle), it goes to conference record. If Seattle loses and us and GB wins we fall to 2nd.

But either way, we should want GB to lose. It's stupid to ask why.

Not if it comes down to just us and GB tied for first. Then it comes down to head to head. It's only by virtue of the 3 way tie we are in first. We don't have the head to head tie breaker over GB, we should want them to lose and may NEED them to lose since you are being so fricking literal.

fricking this.

Praying for others to lose when you control your own destiny is weak.

Head to head is more important though in a two way tie. You are arguing against something you can easily google

You went full retard in this thread. Never go full retard.

On a serious side note, we cant realistically expect the Saints to go 8-0 from here on out. You want the Packers and Seahawks to lose as many games as they are willing to lose. Especially the Packers at this point in time.

Even if that were true, what difference does it make? We had home game in the Dome last year and shite the bed. The Dome in the playoffs isn't scary for any team.
