Seems like a decent target. Contract isn't big, and I doubt he'd be too expensive pick wise

Phrased as they gave him permission to seek a trade. I'm sure he is looking for a final deal.

That's a decent sized contract for someone who would be the 2nd best slot on the team. I would do it for a 5th+ I guess. For those who care: Cole Beasley contract details
Not a knock on the guy, but MT is way to fantastic in the slot role to not play him a ton there. I'd think they'd lean higher priority to someone who could get over the top. Or two...

We don’t have the money to get him. Almost everything we have will go to bringing Armstead and Williams back and finding a QB. I keep forgetting Sean isn’t the coach so Dennis Allen might let them both walk we don’t know how he thinks. We knew Sean loved both those guys.
