Not going to happen, region has declining population and the Mayor is trying to drive the one Fortune 500 company Entergy HQ out of the city.

Pray whatever scheme Gayle has as succession plan works, because if it doesn’t and private equity works it way into Saints ownership moving them out of NOLA to increase the franchise value by $2B plus becomes a real possibility.

And if the saints were to be sold, it would be for a record price

NOLA is small market by NFL standards.

If it’s sold for a record price, that means places like London, Toronto, Mexico City etc are on the table for a move to justify the valuation.

Saints are going to the shitter at the wrong time. Hope Gayle has great genes and lives to 100.

Paul, Cosmo and I have held discussions but Mrs. Gayle is a tough nut to crack.

Color me shocked some of those teams like Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, indy, and Carolina are higher than us.

Quality of on field performance doesn't equate to value, look at Buffalo. But I feel like revenue can guide it and those teams attendance seems a lot worse.

No it doesn’t. That has zero to do with anything.

The last 4 sales, Buffalo, Carolina, Denver, Washington all set the record. The next sale will break the record as well.

Given NOLA track record with losing companies to TX, it’s a matter of when not if. A business friendly mayor for NOLA hasn’t been elected since Vic Schiro.

Saints are about to extend their lease at the Dome. We will never get a business friendly mayor. The next session of legislature is vital to the State as it is a fiscal session and tax reform is on the agenda The new Secretary of LED is great and doing a lot of good things reorganizing the department and allowing business leaders to guide economic policy. We have to get the new port built in St. Bernard River District and new Convention Center Hotel Caesars expansion 4 seasons riverfront redevelopment all positive plus LSP being here for long haul to help with crime The best chance city has though is the Biodistrict and Healthcare sector. The Charity Redevelopment has to be done. Need the LCRC to get NCI designation. Xavier starting a med school which will give us 3 medical schools ( 4 if you count the Ochsner Australian med school ). Children’s just finished a 300 million dollar expansion and Ochsner is building a new neuroscience center and a new Childrens hospital There are alot of positives going on Saints aren’t leaving but city still has a ways to go but there are good things happening

Yes the city of New Orleans is but the reach of the Saints goes well into Florida like Ft. Walton/Destin, up to Atmore in Alabama and Jackson in Mississippi.

Yes and Buffalo draws from Toronto and Jacksonville pulls from Savannah/Low country & Talahassee. No matter how you spin it it’s barely a top 50 TV market.
