You are just figuring this out? That's why I said Mahomet was dumb for not doing everything he could to keep "The Cheetah" in KC

I think having Kadarius Toney hurt more Kelce and Jones.

That dude flat out lost them the game tonight.

It was a combination of no Kelce, no Jones, and Kadarius being injured for most of the spring/summer.

Frankly, I'll put the stink on Chris Jones. MF'er makes more money in 5 games than I'll make in my entire life, yet says he's holding out because "he wants a raise" and "he's gotta take care of his family".

The a-hole sat in the stands watching HIS team (you know, the one he says he wants to retire with?) get beaten up by a pretty good Lions team. If he was on the field instead of sitting around with the supporting cast of the Sopranos in the stands, KC would have probably won that game.

Kelce makes HALF of what Jones makes, and I can guarantee you that Andy Reid probably had to threaten him with his life to keep him off the field.

Frick Jones, I hope he gets dick cancer and terminal toenail fungus. He played the Chiefs all off-season, making them think that he'd probably come around and play. So the Chiefs game-planned and organized their defense around having his fat arse plugging up the middle.

Only, he wasn't there. He was yucking it up with his goomba buddies in the stands while his team struggled on the field.

Kelce could have helped the Chiefs win, and given half a chance he would have been on the field in a full knee brace and still Mossing chuckleheads on the defense.

Kadarius could have helped the Chiefs win if he hadn't been injured and missed basically the entire offseason. He had four bad drops, for sure, but when he's not injured or coming back from an injury he's much more sure-handed.

Andy Reid could have helped the Chiefs win by not throwing an obviously unprepared KT out there for Mahomes to target. Oh, and not going for it on 4th when you can get an easy 3 points would have helped, too.

All of that's true. But what's also true is that the biggest help would have been for Chris Jones to NOT be a selfish a-hole and be there for his team the way the rest of the team is. He "want's to retire a chief", but only if they pay him a king's ransom - does he REALLY think he deserves more money than Aaron Donald? REALLY?

It would hurt in the short term, but the Chiefs should trade his arse to the lowliest team in the NFL for a 1st rounder next year (they would get it). Arizona? Or, maybe, send his Moo State arse up to the frozen tundra of Green Bay.

Either way, he's a bad apple in a barrel of pros that look out for each other. He needs to be gone.

Just the random thoughts of someone who's lived in KC for over 20 years and roots for them only marginally less than I root for the Saints....
