Yup it’s the typical offseason optimism by selectively choosing stats until the first couple games of the season arrive and reality sets in. We literally have the third best QB in our 4 team division but lets nitpick stats to show Carr is a better QB than he is.

Hopefully, we go back to a more traditional offense; I love what Kamara did, but I think we need a thousand yd rusher. Or a pair of backs that get you 1500+ on the ground. I think with a good ground game and a solid defense, he could win the division for us. Probably an early exit in the playoffs. but it'd be nice just to get in again.

I saw an article at the end of last year that said that Carr had the highest passer rating in the league on play action passes.
The Saints called the 2nd or 3rd fewest play action passes in the league last year.
