The point is, he shouldn’t have had a set back mid season. If he wound have had the surgery when the season ended, woukd have been ready six months later when the season started…..

Yep, he shouldn't have. He fricked up.

But I feel like people got more pissed at him and increased their desire to trade him after he had a setback. I get the initial anger at what he did in the offseason. But that setback shouldn't have been a last straw for people imo. Because that in and of itself was out of his control.

Either way, we are better off with a healthy and happy MT than without him. So I think it's in our best interest to move on and keep him. If he pulls some shite again, I would be much more open to moving him. But lets try and see if this can be salvaged because that is probably the best case scenario for both parties.

Dude sandbags an entire season, collects over $20 mill for nothing from his Cali mansion, and Saints intern still delivers his comp'd Courtside seat for tonight's game.

It's fairly obvious that MT was evading the front office to conceal the fact that he didn't get the planned surgery instead opting to rehab, but I don't believe for a second he intended to miss any time much less a season. Driven Goal oriented people like him are miserable when they miss an opportunity to compete and be the best. I guarantee you that the last thing on his mind was to sit on his arse and lose a whole season. People like him despise even missing a single play. It's not in his nature or DNA. Where he had a choice of surgery or rehab, he made the wrong choice.

Seeing how he sabatoged a whole season, with your thinking, he would have off’ed himself

Please supply a motive for him sabotaging the season and maybe his career. Did he do it to sit on his arse and collect a check ?

I have that same North Face jacket but it's all black.

Incredibly warm and I felt like a boss wearing it.
