Yeah and were Sproles or Kamara on Payton’s most successful team? Both are replaceable. The furthest we went with Sproles was a NFC divisional round game.

I guarantee you he will want more than 14 million a year. What do you think he will want and what will it take to keep him?

2011 was the best Saints team Payton has had, and Sproles was a huge part of that.
go look at 2014-2016 and ask yourself what is missing in the run game, and why all those teams underachieved
you like CJ Spiller or Cadet, you dope?
that was fun. It's so easy to replace these guys!!!11

McCalister wasn’t a power back?
Yes and CSP didn't draft him and didn't play for CSP long.
Chris Ivory?
CSP let him go after a short stay.

2011-Saints lost in the divisional round. Clearly not the best team. A lot of teams would like to say this but your basically saying that 2011 San Fran team could have beat the 2009 Saints team.
2014-2016- the saints were missing defense we were horrendous on defense offense was still productive. I can easily pull up the stats for you. Saints started to win in 2017 because the defense started to come around. Having kamara did help but he wasn’t bigger than our defense coming together.

I'm an LSU fan and I wouldn't do this. If Fournette was a free agent great but I wouldn't give up Kamara for him. That would be a great 1 2 punch.

You know what I am bored so I will just look up the saints offensive stats from 2014-2016.
2014- ranked 9th in Ppg. Ranked 1st in yards per game
2015- 8th in ppg. Ranked 2nd in yards per game
2016- 2nd in ppg. Ranked 1st in yards per game
Oh my god. How did the saints ever have an offense without Alvin Kamara? The most important player on Sean Payton’s offense. Lmao. Did someone really say that on here?

Now let’s take a look at the saints scoring defenses from those 2014-2016 years that Alvin Kamara saves ya from.
2014-28th
2015-dead last
2016-second to last
Oh yeah big Alvin turned all of this around.

A guy named Bendover78. I hope the 78 is a football number or something and not the year he was born.

using yards and PPG over those 3 years to convey the lack of importance Kamara has to this offense is comical
when you have the worst D in the league you know on a weekly basis you will need to throw early and often. you are either chasing leads or know your defense cant protect them
3rd down %, drive efficiency, average time per game with a lead, etc are way more important metrics in terms of how a game is decided vs points or yards
Those 14-16 Saints teams threw all 4 QTRs the Kamara teams have run out the 4th QTR clock in close to 1/3 of the games they have played the last 3 years

So points and yards don’t matter? Got it.

quote:didnt say that but to ignore their context is idiotic
So points and yards don’t matter?
ex. Saints down 21 points in the 4th Qtr with 5 min remaining...score 14 points + accrue 100 yards = kinda worthless = trash yards and points, they didnt have any impact on the outcome of the game they just inflate stats
ex. Saints up 10, run the clock out accrue 30 yards + 0 points in the final 3 minutes of a game
context in regards to drive efficiency + time with a lead over the course of a game...are more consistent in being a barometer of actual success

Noted that anytime Ben Dover sees anything LSU related he loses his shite and morphs into a minor league Gil Brandt...
Hilarious though. Keep it up, little fella!
Btw, LF isn’t what the Saints need...

If you can score and move the ball. You have a good offense. Teams don’t quit playing defense once they have the lead.
