Hopefully he has no influence on any other decisions either, unless it involves putting french fries into a bag and handing it through a drive thru window

Did I compare Fournette catching abilities to Kamara? No I said he was coming around as a threat out of the backfield. He is on the fricking Jags bro. And Fournette isn’t the most valuable back in the league when healthy. He is valuable when he has a second back to help carry the load.

Really good and articulate points man. You have a strong grasp of football. It's too bad you aren't working in an NFL front office because you are god's gift to player evaluations. English is a strong suit of yours as well. Keep up the good work

Jags have been to an AFC title game with Fournette, don't act like it's the 1-15 Lions we're dealing with here, Socrates.

You are truly one of the great thinkers of our generation

But he wants primary back money. Christian McCaffery is a primary back. Derrick Henry as well.

touches per game 2019

Henry: 21
Kamara: 18

See, i agree with this to an extent. What you are overlooking is that Fournette is not it.

Yeah and Fournette has a good season that year with no receivers or quarterback. Their defense carried them to the playoffs. The Jags are in disarray you could compare them to the Lions. They suck.

I guarantee you he wants at least around that.

That moment when you think your opinion is indeed a fact.

Again I ask you, since you continue to speak in absolutes, what is his asking price? You obviously know it, so fess up numnut

Replaceable? you're talking out your arse now. Payton went his entire coaching career here with only 1 player that came close to doing what Kamara has done (Sproles), and this is the type of player he needs for his offensive scheme. If he is so replaceable, why has it been so difficult to find him in the first place?

I will get trashed for this probably but I would much rather have Fournette that Kamara.

Yeah some will, but none of them are considering what would AK's numbers look like if he had gone to JAX. Teams would have had to play the run honest if LF had been on the Saints, and I think his numbers would be way better than the already really good that they are.

Easy there, keyboard warrior. Your strongest argument to this point is "He plays for the freaking jags bro"

Well said. That's a detail no one else could've pointed out. So I'll give you credit for that.

When Mickey Loomis calls you for advice a week from tonight on what to do at 24, please make us proud. Idiot

LF has always been able to catch the ball. He might have had 1K yds receiving on 2019 LSU. Yeah I am being serious.

Thomas and Ingram did not play the role that Kamara, Sproles and Bush did. We aren't comparing rushing production here. We are speaking of the particular role the players fill in CSP's offense. He needs a route runner at RB that can get underneath as well as take up the sidelines, and he needs one that will command the respect required to pull coverages his way.

Kamara is that player, and he is the best of them all. Bush was supposed to be it, but he was never truly effective enough. Sproles was next, and he was very good. He trailed off a bit his final season with us, plus he never was a great runner the way Kamara is.

Kamara is very unique in that he runs inside and out with incredible skill, and he also can run most any route required of him. He is very similar to Marshall Faulk. Both had elite elusiveness, and both had deceptive power.

He is the best RB we have had on this team under Payton, yet somehow people here act like that is completely replaceable. It's silly.

If he wants to get paid 16mil/yr, then most likely he is gone. The point here is that we have no idea what his asking price is, so for us to keep acting like he's being a bitch in negotiations is assinine. None of us know anything about these negotiations, yet somehow we have dipshits like the OP speaking as if they do in facts without presenting any facts.
