I'm really worried about we're going to do with Harper. It doesn't look like he fits into the new system, and he has a big, fat contract. He doesn't seem trade-able to me.
I think Quddus has potential to be a starting SS. He likes to lay the wood, and he has shown coverage skills.

If you want a picture of a Spagnuolo defense, don’t think too much about the St. Louis team he had been the head coach of since 2009.
Think more of the New York Giants, when Spagnoulo was their defensive coordinator in 2007 and ’08.
So think of him when he had an awesome front 4 and not a crappy one. To bad Saints don't currently have that type of personal.

We've got almost no talent in the LB corps and no pass rushers on the d line and you are worried about a SS that can do everything but cover? Dude, I'm sure Spags will be good with blitzing Roman Harper a lot like GW, seeing as how it would take a miracle for the Saints to find the personnel to rush the passer this offseason even with Spags at coach

You're damn right I'm worried about it. It's not the only thing I'm worried about, but it's one of them.

Franklin was a total bust
disagree there...Franklin is a nosetackle...we was brought in to help slow down the running game. We were much better at that this year. For what he is, he played very well.

Can someone tell me about Spags...
all you had to do is ask
He's a ten-foot tall beast man, who showers in vodka, and feeds his baby shrimp scampi. Coughlin once had a bachelor party for Spags... he ate the entire cake, before they could tell him there was a stripper in it. Spag's semen can form into a liquid human, like that guy from Terminator 2. He sheds his skin once a year. Like an alligator he can fully digest a turtle shell. Its rumored that people have seen him scissor kick Angela Lansberry. He jumped off the Empire State Building this one time and he only sprained his ankle. He'll eat a homeless person if you dare him. Spags is a son of a bitch.

Sadly, you're right. I can't remember his name being called one time.

As part of the interview process, I wonder to what degree Payton promised him a draft geared more or less exclusively toward getting Spags whatever tools he thinks he needs to revamp the D?

You want see as much mixed defensive packages (3-4, 3-3-5, etc.)

obviously, I hope they drop BPA mentality this year for BDPA. With any hire, I hope they are dedicated to improving D.

EE is def harder, I'll go with you on this. I started in EE but switched a year or two in due to the way my job/interests went.
I wouldn't say civil is easiest, its on the lower end I'd say. Thats a toss up between environmental and industrial engineering. Take this for what it's worth, 80% of the chemical engineers I've met are women, and 90% of the women I schooled with were on my list of "stay the frick off any structure they ever designed" list.

Women folk belong in the kitchen, the laundry room, and the bedroom. If they leave the house it is to go grocery shopping or to exercise. And they must be back before dark. Under no circumstances should women be allowed to enter the workplace unless it is for some afternoon delight with the boss. Also, she is not permitted any male friends. If she has female friends, i am permitted to test them out sexually before they are allowed to socialize on a regular basis. If she would like to stand in a wedding, I get to institute the age old practice of Prima Nocta. If she mouths off, or doesn't have home-cooked meals prepared daily for me she will be disciplined. That isn't too sexist is it? Can you tell I'm bored at work today?
