The reason they vendors in the dome take the caps is to keep track of how many drinks are sold.

If there is any game where I just hope we are loud as frick, then this is it.

Despite my extreme dislike of cowbells, whistles, kazoos, and what not. If you got em, use em...just not in section 146 around row 32

this is why the NFL doesn't allow bottle caps anymore:

Browns game...but the Saints fans did it too

Do you see people typing about having problems with people whistling at the game and complaining about it?

This is win at all cost. Do you object to beating on the walls or rails?

Noise is noise. I was referencing to what they were talking about on the radio.

Some bells are rung in the Superdome, believe it or not.

Whistling is generating the noise yourself, beating the railings is being creative and making noise with the interior of the building given to you, bringing in bottles is bush league son

Browns game

I remember that game like yesterday. We (browns) got fricked on that call. Ran another play then the officials review the play before. Are you kidding me? They deserved everything they got. Go Browns!

Call 870am, I was just passing the news.

If the Saints win, do you really care about how we made noise?

I know you don't. It was just funny.

Did you go to the 2001 Saints vs. Minn playoff game?

I did and Vikings fans around me had earplugs in their ears.
It was your so called bush league move of pumped in sound.

The next year Vikings came down to place us and Saint won. So they bitched.

Hello, pot? It's kettle calling...

And one more note that highlights the craziness that seems to preside in Minnesota this season. It seems that the Vikings were upset in New Orleans last week with the Saints' positioning of speakers on the Minnesota sideline.

Vikings executive vice president Mike Kelly on Monday said the Saints violated league rules by placing sets of sound speakers and subwoofers near both 35-yard lines and pointing them toward Minnesota's bench.

League rules require speakers to be situated between the 20-yard line and the goal line, facing the stands. The placement of the speakers made communication difficult on the Vikings sideline. Kelly said Green would decide whether to file a grievance to the league about the Saints' speakers.

You might recall that the Saints were among the teams that have complained in recent years about the noise level that visiting teams have been subjected to in the Metrodome. New Orleans complained about both the volume of piped-in music and the placement of sideline speakers after their loss at Minnesota in last year's divisional playoffs.

Green this week reacted angrily when asked whether he planned to file a grievance, insisting that the sideline intrigue should have remained private.

"To be honest with you, that's something [the media] shouldn't even know about," Green said. "I don't know who opened their big mouth, but no one has ever known Dennis Green to be a crybaby."

Of course, we knew that whining was simply not allowed in Green's world. Who could ever forget the title of his controversial 1997 autobiography, No Room for Crybabies.
