How fitting was it that a timeout gaffe pretty much cost the Vikings the game.

They probably run the ball if they don't get penalty.

BTW, if the Vikings don't fumble themselves out of points, they win.

I think this is a completely ignorant post.

Favre did not lose the game for them, and you absurd to suggest as much.

Considering Favre was hit more than a dozen times, I thought he played pretty well.

Perhaps it's time to get your head out your arse.

dumbass

that call was for having 12 men break the huddle, not for calling consecutive timeouts

Well before the timeout it would have been a 50yd kick....after the penalty 55yds.....meaning they needed to get a few more yards than with no penalty.

The Webber play happened in the dome as well.

If they don't get some of those roughing the passer calls, they don't score some of those points.

Good grief.....give me a break, I was at the game....it wasn't exactly quiet at that point.

My point was the timeout didn't cost them. Turnovers did.

What does that have to do with Webber and a timeout?

They didn't use the timeout, Favre trying to call a TO was a smart move considering he knew they had 12 men in the huddle.

I believe Favre mentioned in his press conference that the play was the same, but that he thought the noise screwed them up leading to that penalty. Then he knew they were out of FG range and had to force it.

They wanted Berrian but we adjusted when they moved him in motion.

brett favre is one tough sonofabitch ! He took a beating and kept on going. He got my respect tonight.

Plus that gift tonight toward the end of regulation was pretty good of him also

12 men in the huddle was the coaches fault probably or maybe the fans should get credit? Farve has given us some of the greatest sports moments ever. He threw a bad ball like 2 years ago so what? The Vikings would have never sniffed the NFC title game without him. Farve is awesome and at 40 years old! GTFOH

But he could have ran for 5 yards at least and got in range for Longwell to have a good shot at hitting the FG.

It was a terrible play by Favre, when otherwise he played a hell of a game considering the beating he was taking.

Cause the 50 yard FG was automatic.

Maybe AD lost it with fumbles. Maybe Schianco lost it with his fumble at the 10.

Maybe Harvin lost the game with his fumble.

Maybe the D lost the game by not stopping the Saints in OT.
