#Saints  QB Drew Brees has a torn ligament in his throwing thumb and he’s going to require surgery, sources say. The timeframe depends on the surgery, but he’s likely out 6 weeks. That’s the initial estimate

Well I'm done with the NFL then.

Brees and a championship were the only things keeping me in.

To me this is like a best case scenario.

I can live with this. We've got to find a way to scratch out 2-3 wins.

If true, we may be able to survive 6 weeks given the South does not look that strong.

Seahawks, Dallas, Bucs, jags, bears, cardinals. That's the next six weeks then a bye week. Beat cardinals and Bucs and we are 3-5 going into the bye. Get drew back and win next 8. 11-5 season

Looking at the schedule, Cardinals, Bucs and Jaguars are winnable games.

No reason we can’t beat the Bucs, jags and cardinals unless we are that poor overall of a football team.

Our schedule isn't too terrible after these next two games against the seahawks and the cowgirls. If Teddy can get comfortable in the offense I think we will be alright. I'll be interested to see how far our offense will have come along when we go up to chicago october 20th. Definitely need to go AT LEAST .500 in this stretch. Prayers up
