Tony Romo’s new CBS contract to call about 20 NFL games per season — $17 million per, close to $1 million per telecast for the next 10 years on a reported $170 million deal.
Gotta pay for that jewelry I guess. Most people could have let the first apology slide, after all, he don’t know no better. But the next 2 were just pathetic. Gayle Benson is as classless as I thought for not sticking up for Him too. frick the saints.

Maybe he did, he had alot shoved in his face in a relatively short time. The isolation and demonization tactics that were used to break him were swift. Maybe the most swift smear campaign and Twitter bullying I have ever seen. I think we should give him a break. He has alot on his plate with ZERO Public support. He and his family have received death threats. His wife doesn't look like the kind of person capable of dealing with death threats

I'm not sure if only one of those is the driving force. I suspect the latter plays a bigger part that we realize.
What I do know is that the though/realization that either of these was in jeopardy absolutely drove them out of their minds.

I don’t understand all this. So Brees and CSP has made the Saints a consensus playoff team (outside of 3 horrible years in a row) and we abandon him and the team when everyone is making adjustments.
I did not agree with the kneeling but come on. This issue was a long time coming. He made a calculated mistake in his timing to answer that question at the peak of this.

Have you ever caused pain to anyone? For some of you, it may have been a wonderful experience.... but for most people, and Drew Brees... it is something that we must try to fix... there's nobody in the world that works harder to learn from their failures than Drew Brees... if you don't believe this, you need to pull you're head out...
