He's worthless. He was on the field a ton, I dont think Brees even looked his way once. He clearly doesnt trust him, nor does he have any designed plays like every other skill position player on our roster

they got a lot of 6'6" people in this world. Doesn't mean they are all NFL caliber recievers. Maybe he just doesn't have the talent. Probably why he wasn't drafted even though he is 6'6"

You're right I am, I'm just waiting for that breakout game. I just don't see it happening.

It's kinda hard to catch a football when you're not even targeted. But in all honesty he's in the doghouse with Brees for something and at this point is just an extra body on the field.

Colston drops the ball too and he still get the ball.
Coleman is 9 for 19 this season.
Colston is 18 for 28.
They are both doing horrible this season.

I think you might be in my league bc there can't be two people stupid enough to draft Brandon Coleman in a fantasy league.

Colston also has 10 years under his belt.
He has not been at full health for awhile now and STILL a better WR than Coleman.

I still feel he is a waste of a roster spot.

During pregame warm ups Brandon Coleman looks like an absolute stud. Damn near megatron 2.0. Then the game starts.

What a bust he has been this year. Last night 0 FOR 0!

How can he catch a ball when the Great Drew Brees wont even look his way...He has been open a lot and can't even get a look....Pay attention to the game and not what the media is saying.... Coleman gets open and drew doesn't even look, because he's not cooks...

Drew has been looking so hard to make Cooks the next superstar he over looks Snead and Coleman a lot. I don't even think he knew Ben Watson could catch before thursday night's game.

Can't get better if he doesn't get the chance to.

1) Coleman isn't that good at getting separation.
2) In the few games where Colman has been thrown the ball, he has not been sure handed. QBs remember that.
3) Please don't compare Coleman, an unproven first year player, to the the Saints all time reception and scoring leader who has been a mainstay target for our QB for a decade.

Coleman's problem is he plays smaller than his size.

If he doesn't learn to play to his attributes he'll seal his own fate.

I personally think he should be on the practice squad right now. He does have potential to be solid as a possession /red zone option.

I'm just comparing this year. Colston is one of my favorite Saints players of all time, but this season hasn't been very good for him.
Do I think Coleman could be as good as Colston one day? Maybe. But all I'm trying to say is if Colston isn't sure-handed like he used to be, why doesn't Drew try someone new?
