Two year deal.
Exit the CB market, we need to fix our OL.

On to Antonio cromartie.

Yeah the guys left are going to be too expensive to be worth it or not an upgrade over what we have. Unless somehow DRC or Thurmond come cheap(doubtful).
I'd rather DRC over AC.

I'm starting to get a little worried about our offense. I want to say I'm just being paranoid, but I really don't want to end up like the Falcons of last year. Why would we bring in Browner (or try to) for a visit if we haven't even offered Strief yet? I just don't get it. Strief has even said he really wants to be in NOLA.. That means he will sure fire take a discount. Sign him.
We already cut two weapons (who were old, but still familiar in the system) and lost two starting OL.. We can address those needs in the draft but the idea of starting a rookie or a backup who has never seen the field at two OL positions is terrifying
We have built a championship D... It is ready. We were great last year, and we added the missing piece. No need for overkill. Protect the FACE of our franchise.

A source tells ProFootballTalk that free agent CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie turned down a six-year, $54 million offer from the Broncos
Yeah out of our range. Or is it...?

Apparently there's a mystery FA meeting with the Saints anyway. Good enough to be kept on the DL

@TomPelissero: I'm told Brandon Browner does not have a deal with #Patriots. He is on way to visit #Redskins. Plans to visit #Saints and #Raiders next.
Also cromartie didn't sign with the cardinals.

notice one big thing in common with the 4 elite QB teams (rodgers, manning, brady, and brees)?
All of them signed or resigned a quality DB
Denver: Talib
Green Bay: Shields (overpaid, but pretty decent)
New Orleans: Byrd
New England: Revis

We've most likely either told Strief to come back with his best offer in FA, or have already made an offer that we aren't pulling off the table so that he can hear other offers and come back if he wishes.

Talib or DRC...
I'd want Talib

Brandon Browner's agent, Peter Schaffer, said his client is in negotiations w/ "four teams and we do not have a deal. We arent even close."
