switch teams and it would be so much worse.
They feed Landry the ball off 1 read designed plays near the LoS.
Saints and Drew have always spread the ball around, limiting the # of receptions, and therefore yards of their reveivers.
This is silly. Landry is great at what he does. A near LoS possession receiver with some wiggle. He'd actually be a great complement to Cooks and Snead. Should have gone Cooks 1 and Landry 2

let me ask you, do you think its easier to catch a 5 yard pass on average, or a 10yard pass?
Posted on 1/26/16 at 11:05 am to Lester Earl
That's a stupid question. So many factors can make either easier. It's not a simple answer because of that but I imagine you have never played a down in your life.

so what you are saying is you know 10yard passes are generally harder to catch, but that doesnt help your argument.
Evidently only 5 yard passes involve catching the ball in traffic.

Not at all but I understand why you don't

I assume that is why he used the term "on average"

It's the offseason, just wait until draft time

It's like saying who should have a better career completion %.
Brady who dinks and dunks <10 yards
or
Ben who chucks it >10 yards on average.
Before the emergence of the great Antonio Brown, it was Brady.

I know one thing. Jarvis would have came back to the ball on that play and ripped that shite out of Norman's hands for the game winning TD.

Yeah and lets play this game called hindsight.
Imagine the Saints with:
2011:
Wilson -> Casey (a top-end DT?!)
Patrick -> KJ Wright (a coverage LB!?)
2012:
Hicks -> TY Hilton (omgah a burner?!)
Toon -> Norman (OMGAH, almost cut!?)
White -> Blair Walsh (A DEPENDABLE KICKER YAH!)
Tiller -> Travathan (another good LB!?)
2013:
Vaccaro -> Trufant/Hopkins (no need for Browner!)
2014:
Cooks -> Bucannon
SJB -> Robinson
3rd -> Turner (who needs Brown when you have Hilton!?)
Fortt -> White (no need for Spiller!)
Man if the draft went that way, you'd be good at these spots instead of the scrubs we have now!
WR: TY Hilton AND Robinson
RB: White
G: Turner
DT: Casey
LB: Wright AND Travathan
CB: Norman AND Trufant
S: Bucannon
K: Walsh

no he wouldnt have. He'd still be running down the field

Nah, if he wouldnt have caught it (which he probably would have), he would have def made sure Norman didnt catch it. Im hoping this offseason Baby Cooks can work on attacking the ball in the air, and leave behind his strategy of just letting the ball come to him. He will be hard to stop once he gets a little more aggressive.
Posted on 1/26/16 at 12:24 pm to DatNolaClap
That play would never be run with Landry because he doesn't have the ability to blow by Norman like Cooks did on that play
That was an exceptional Int on a badly thrown ball

I do love how the rantards ignore the high end busts like Mingo and Claiborne
