The Cowboys are trading for Texans WR Brandin Cooks in exchange for a 2023 5th and 2024 6th, per Jeremy Fowler.

I’m honestly surprised he has lasted this long with his concussions and slight frame. Liked him as a Saint and wish him well.

He was and still is a good player. The majority of our fan base did not like him because he was injured at the tail end of his rookie season. Did not help our playoff run at all at the time. Also, most people were happy when we traded him. This fanbase often puts unrealistic expectations on offensive players drafted in round one. No need to bad mouth him. Hes a good player and id take him back in a heartbeat. Good move by Dallas.

I think our fan base turned on him when he publicly bitched about not getting a catch in a game we won by like 28.

Yup. Saints blew out someone and Mike Thomas had a huge game. Cooks was publicly complaining and that was essentially the end of his run here.

How old is Cooks now?? Does he have anything left?? Also, the Cowboys now have 4 proven WRs in CeeDee Lamb, Gallup, TY Hilton, and now Brandin Cooks. If Dak can't do anything with them, then he should retire.
