A couple of good articles about Cooks at OTA's.

The pic of Rob Ryan with the D is priceless. Looks like someone just goosed him the arse.

“Today, I didn’t even see him when he got that hand-off,” outside linebacker Junior Galette said, describing a play at Thursday’s practice where Cooks got a hand-off on a reverse and sped up the sidelines. “I haven’t seen that speed in quite a while. His speed is definitely top-tier in the league.”

- During field-goal kicking drills, both Shayne Graham and Derek Dimke were given opportunities to attempt kicks from 33, 39 and 45 yards. Dimke nailed all three of his attempts and Graham made two of his three kicks, missing the 39-yarder wide right.
This seems to be becoming a trend.

So if this is becoming a trend, should that imply that Dimke is the current favorite to win the job? Obviously it's still early, but does anyone think that he's the favorite at this point?
If Dimke continues to go 3/3 and Graham continues to go 2/3, I would think we'd go consistency over experience.

No matter how they kick now it will come down to the pre season games.
DD could win the starter role in those games as well.
But actual game pressure kicking would tell I think.

Guess that makes him a hall of famer before playing a down.

You're trying to be the cool contrarian, but it's not working.
