resting starters is overrated especially if you have a bye week.

I'm certainly not above denouncing silly threads that amount to little more about griping about the national media, being positive for its own sake without any kind of rational argument backing it up, questioning people's 'fandom' because they aren't on Cloud 9 after a brutal beatdown on national television, etc.
Yeah, neither am I.

The difference is that I don't even remember the last time you said something positive about the team or the board.
So are you here to contribute sometimes or only criticize?

getting a bye week > resting starters

but it is a good thing to hope for I'm just more concerned about winning those 3 games rather than hoping we win out.

note: I fully expect the Panthers/Saints series to be split.

Its a fine line between sunshine pumping and being a critical fan. It all depends how you view the game. Critics tend to be more hard core football types and know when something is not right and call it as they see it. Sunshine pumpers have blind faith. To each their own although the pumpers prob have a better time with the whole football experience. But too much sunshine pumping can lead to a lack of accountability. Sometimes hard questions need to be asked. This was not your average loss.

Wow. That might be the best someone has summed it all up.

Let's put it this way: You're an Angela Hill type of Saints fan while I'm a Buddy D. type of Saints fan.

They actually started out 5-0 and then the wheels fell off. I guess the league figured out 34 year old Wade Wilson.

Just ask Peyton Manning. He rests every year and then does so well....

Carolina gave the team that whipped the Saints all over the field a real challenge

And that was before Carolina got it together

Not a good sign at all. Didn't even compete, total destruction

Wild card spot is a real possibility
