Bobby Wagner should we?

We play a 4-2-5, meaning we typically only employ 2 LBers at a time. DD and Pete are our 2 starters. Kaden Ellis is a FA likely to leave in FA to pursue a starting role because he won’t beat out those 2 guys. So why on God’s green earth would we let Ellis walk to pay Wagner just the same if not more money?

We have good luck with those west coast guys?

We have two better LBs on the roster already that make less money that he will want, and can re-sign Ellis for less than half the cost and with much better production.

In a land full of "hard passes", this is a slam dunk hard pass.
