Who knows what the future hold for him but history proves PKs take a little time to adjust to the NFL. He made good improvements from 23 to 24 and now looks like he’s making more positive improvements.

Charlie Smyth on the other have is showing his lack of football kicking experience. He’s got a hell of a leg on him but the consistency just isn’t where he needs it to be, which is not surprising considering he has only been kicking an NFL football for what 3 years?

I love the idea of bringing in "competition" at kicker, and then just cutting and replacing them every 2 days

Grupe just sitting there like "i must be at least decent"

Will the Saints pick a punter that doesn’t suck arse for once?

The Duke doesn’t seem worse to kick than a college ball. Cam Little seemed to pick it right up…we’ll see how he does in year two, with hopefully more attempts.

This is Grupes 3rd year.

He made big strides from his rookie year to last year. No reason to think he won’t continue to improve and become a reliable kicker.

He has the same kicking coach as Cam. My son has the same fella and gets to kick with both of them. Pretty inspiring.

19-of-20 in camp.
And the one he missed was in the rain.
The other guy is supposed to be good too.
Too bad we can’t keep them both.
