Saints lose out but beat the Falcons last game of the year. Record 6-11. Hopefully Top Ten pick
Loomis gets rid of Allen and Carmichael.
New coach comes in
Helps unload expensive old free agents, take cap hit for next year.
New Coach drafts a quarterback with the high draft pick ( would like Daniels, but will take any franchise quarterback)
Let Carr take the beating next year while quarterback sits on the bench. Wish for good season or at least sweep Falcons, but not counting on it.
Following year, get rid of Carr. Clear up the salary cap for 2025.

Rebuild is the only option. GM that put the team in cap hell and not rebuilding sooner also needs to go.
However, not trying to be negative but that won't happen. Hell, they may not even get rid of Allen at the end of the year. More than likely the problem won't be corrected until this team gets another owner. Buckle up or find something else to do with your Fall Sundays for the foreseeable future.

I'm on board with this, but the unrealistic, utopian scenario would be a new president hired who clears out Lauscha, Loomis, Allen and Carmichael.

The only thing this will accomplish is give ammunition for the team to move. The next owner will demand a new stadium, and if ticket sales are low that's one of the easy grievances that NFL owners use for justification in moving a team.
If you enjoy the game day experience in New Orleans and you can afford it, who am I to tell you how to spend your own money? I know that I made the decision that the NFL product could no longer justify me spending the money on it. I spent 23 years going to the games as a season ticket holder, that's good enough.

empty stadiums work in college. no they cannot leave like a pro team but it is a chockenshit excuse by owners. the saints are a shitshow and not being run correctly nor are committed long term anyway to winning. if they leave they leave. oh well. win and maybe people will come back.
