As a Fanbase, Where Do We Go From Here?

This season, I checked out pretty early. I made no attempts to look for a link to stream games. I went about my Sundays enjoying other teams games just for the competition of it. Do you check out until there are major changes or do you keep setting yourself up to witness incompetent failure at every level of Airline Drive?

Nah. Until this organization actually stops acting like a mom and pop I’m not going to get too wrapped up in them. I like following football (less than I used to) but there isn’t much to get attached to this team about. It’s a professional organization making shitloads of money putting out a terrible product.

Well said. I live in Atlanta and absolutely hate the Falcons, but I see their organization is run professionally. Arthur Blank made mistakes over the years but at least he tries to put football people in place to right his wrongs. Even the Saints radio network is a mom n pop tinker shop. Gameday experience in the Superdome is out of touch and dated too. Everyone operates as if it's still 09

Hope for the best in ‘24
Expect mediocrity.

I want Dennis Allen to fired more than anyone and I’m not defending the organization. But you just outed yourself as a fair weather fan.

Lots of fair-weather fans here. It's hard to watch this team at times but I still do and will.
I also understand that some people approach this differently.

Thank god you were relieved of such a strenous, expensive and tasking job in supporting the Saints. Not easy finding free nfl streams lol

Down if we keep Allen.

We’ve not hit rock bottom yet. The organization needs to admit there is a problem first. No chance at beginning the 12 step process.
The Fans are getting completely demoralized. When you see stupid decision making by the head coach every week and nothing being done, you get frustrated.
Games have been handed to opponents by total malfeasance in closing minutes of games in the red zone and 1st and goal. It never seems to end.
In my fandom, I never ever wanted my team to lose. Now, I’m embracing it. I can’t stand the head coach. I really dislike stupid people. He takes the cake.

Yeahhhhh this isn’t a fair weather take at all lmao. Avoids watching “his team” on Sunday only to come bitch about them on a random Wednesday afternoon.

The fandom police always make me
Who gives a shite if it’s “fair weather.” It’s a multi billion dollar organization not his Alma mater or upstart little program.
Blind loyalty to a behemoth professional organization seems kind of silly in this day and age. It’s not some badge of character. Just because the saints of the pre CSP era were lovable losers in a different, way less corporate nfl doesn’t mean someone is a shite fan from demanding more in the current iteration of the league.
Constant renegotiation of TV rights for obscene amounts of money, multi billion dollar stadiums, home games being played overseas…. a fan has every fricking right to check out due to piss poor effort from a franchise.
Things can change A LOT quicker now with the right coach, FO who are innovative thinkers, etc. I’d actually argue that the super fans who aren’t turned off by the half assed job our owner, FO, and coaches are doing are a bigger issue than “fair weather” fans.

If enough of us do not renew our season tickets, then Gayle will get the message.
