13 year old Arch Manning (Cooper's son) made his qb debut for Newman High School in their recent Spring Game and threw for 3 touchdowns (against my former high school, lol). He reportedly has an ability to run like his grandfather Archie and is already receiving interest from Ole Miss!

It’s sad how bad shaw has become. We use to dominate in football.

And, if he is anything like the other Mannings, it is a virtual GUARANTEE that he will not select LSU to attend and play football.

As a Saints fan, i like the Manning family generally.. but i’ve never understood what they have against LSU instutionally, must be that Archie attended Ole Miss in the beginning, i guess.

Well, LSU chose Josh Booty over Peyton Manning. And Eli was going to follow Cutcliff to his dad’s alma mater. (The reason they hired Cutcliff.)

Isn't 13 about a year or so too young for high school? Unless he skipped a grade.

I heard he was in eighth grade but played on the varsity team.

Is this revisionist history? Because i certainly don’t remember it happening that way.

Then again, it was a long time ago.

Maybe so. Someone on MSB also said he's 15,but all of the media outlets are saying he's 13.

3 touchdowns and 2 pics is not that bad for a debut of a kid who's not even in high school yet. All of the media outlets including national media like USA Today are reporting that he's 13.

Should have a first round pick by the time he’s able to be drafted

Peyton Manning had no intention of going to LSU..LSU knew that and made no attempt to recruit him.

Didn’t Josh Booty come out the same year and originally committed to LSU then opt out when he was drafted by the Marlins.
