As a huge sports fan, I’m constantly tuning in to talking head shows or highlight shows wanting to hear what people have to say. Every single time, I end up immediately changing the channel thinking “who is in charge of hiring these people”. It’s embarrassing how terrible everyone is for every sport.
Anyone ever hear Jim Thome on MLB Network? Reggie Miller is the main TNT basketball color guy, and he might be the worst commentator in sports. This new MNF crew is a joke. Alex Rodriguez is cringeworthy on ESPN for baseball. I legitimately don’t know how people in charge are deciding on who is qualified and good enough for these jobs.

Pretty sure he still works for Fox. But he is the most insightful, intelligent, and articulate baseball commentator I can ever remember. Your dislike for him as a player is clouding your judgement. He does games for ESPN. The last time I was paying attention, I muted the game then switched over to ESPN2. It was one of the first playoff games this year, and it was a running joke on social media how awful he was.
